Every company has an origin story. Ours starts in 2019 — not with a “grand launch”, but with a problem that kept showing up in sim racing:
People were buying powerful hardware… and mounting it to cockpits that couldn’t handle it.
2019: The first laps
SimXPro began in a Dutch workshop, founded by Michel Kok, with a focus on building simulator hardware that could handle real load, real abuse, and real passion.
From the beginning, the goal wasn’t to create “gaming furniture.” It was to create a platform you could trust — so you could focus on driving.
The philosophy that started everything
- Rigidity first — stability improves consistency, and consistency creates speed.
- Compatibility matters — a cockpit should support upgrades, not fight them.
- Designed in the Netherlands — with engineering-led decision making.
How that mindset shows up today
Even as the lineup grows, the core idea stays the same: build an ecosystem you can start with, then scale.
