In 2019, we started with a clear goal: build rigid, purposeful simulators.
In 2020, we had to prove it — in the real world.
2020: From prototypes to production
Early prototypes are brutally honest. If something flexes, it flexes. If something doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit. And if an adjustment is annoying, you’ll feel it every time you sit down.
2020 was about turning those lessons into real products — built for daily use, not just for photos.
The biggest lessons from that era
- Adjustability must be simple. If it takes an hour to adjust, people won’t do it.
- Mounting points matter. A cockpit is only as “compatible” as the holes you can actually use.
- Stiffness isn’t a number. It’s what you feel under braking and steering load.
If you’re building today, this still applies
Even with better wheels and pedals available now, the build process is the same: decide on your seating position, plan your mounting, then choose a cockpit that won’t limit you.
