SimRacing Expo 2025 was packed with hardware, software, and (most importantly) people who care about the details.
If you stopped by our booth, thank you. If you couldn’t make it, here’s what stood out — and how it affects what we build next.
Theme #1: “No-flex” is no longer a premium request
Direct drive wheelbases and stiff brakes have become the norm. That means flex is no longer a mild annoyance — it’s a performance limiter.
Our takeaway: cockpit stiffness has to be a baseline expectation, not an optional upgrade.
If you’re comparing rig styles, start here:
Aluminium profile vs tubular rigs: which should you choose?
Theme #2: Ergonomics is the new “performance mod”
A surprising number of conversations weren’t about torque or brake pressure — they were about comfort. Not “couch comfort”, but the kind that keeps you consistent in lap 30.
Seat angle, pedal height, wheel distance and monitor positioning are where a lot of lap time is hiding.
Theme #3: Monitor stability matters more with tactile & motion
As more racers add tactile transducers and motion, monitor wobble becomes a real immersion killer. We talked to a lot of racers who want triple screens… but only if they stay perfectly aligned.
If you’re deciding between integrated and freestanding monitor mounting, this guide helps:

What we’re focusing on next
- Cleaner designs that still behave like industrial-grade rigs (see: GT‑PRO)
- Seat options for both GT and formula seating positions (Torq GT and Olix GP)
- More practical guides that help you choose once — and upgrade smart
