Everyone has had the same pit stop: you enter the lane, you’re trying to hit the limiter, you’re scrolling menus, you miss your box, and you leave with the wrong fuel.

That’s not “driving skill”. That’s workflow.

What pit macros are good for

  • Fuel changes (add/remove)
  • Tyre changes (all / none / specific)
  • Fast repair decisions
  • Tear-off / windshield options (car dependent)

A simple macro layout that works

Group 1: “Pit lane survival”

  • Pit limiter toggle
  • Pit request (if you use it)
  • Black box / pit menu open

Group 2: “Fuel”

  • + small fuel
  • + big fuel
  • 0 fuel / clear

Group 3: “Tyres & repairs”

  • All tyres on/off
  • Fast repair on/off
  • Optional: change left/right side only

Where to map them

You have three realistic options:

  • Wheel buttons: good for limiter and a couple of essentials.
  • Button box / Stream Deck: best for macros and setup actions.
  • Keyboard: works, but not as ergonomic in a cockpit.

If you run endurance or stream, a proper control zone helps a lot:

The goal: fewer pit mistakes, less stress, more focus on clean laps.
