SimXPro Bottom to Side Mount Set 290mm
Convert a seat with bottom mounting points into a side-mount compatible setup and gain significantly more control over your seating position. The SimXPro Bottom to Side Mount Set is designed specifically for seats with a 290 mm (29 cm) spacing between the bottom mounting holes.
This is not a conventional seat mount. The brackets attach to the mounting points underneath a bottom-mounted seat and create side mounting points. The seat can then be installed in combination with a compatible side seat mount.
The main advantage is adjustability. A conventional bottom-mounted seat is normally installed relatively flat and offers little or no adjustment of the seat base itself. By converting the seat to a side-mount configuration, the side seat mount allows you to adjust the seat angle and, depending on the mounting position, change the front and rear height. This makes it possible to tilt the complete seat backwards and fine-tune the driving position.
This is particularly useful for fixed-back seats or other seats where the backrest cannot be adjusted. It is also a practical upgrade for drivers who want more control over ergonomics, leg position and seating angle than a standard bottom-mounted installation provides.
